Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center Futian
Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (referred to as SZCEC), which was officially opened in 2004, is a government-invested facility managed by the Shenzhen municipal government. Strategically located in the city center, it is the largest single building in Shenzhen. SZCEC is renowned for its “Crystal Palace” exhibition hall, which can accommodate 5,000 international standard exhibition booths in a “U” layout.
SZCEC is strategically situated in the heart of the city, occupying an area of 220,000 square meters with a total construction area of 280,000 square meters. The building is 540 metres long and 282 metres wide. The highest point above ground is 60 metres, comprising 6 floors above ground and 2 underground floors. The steel structure, glass dome and curtain wall are seamlessly integrated. At night, the building is illuminated, creating an exquisitely translucent effect and earning it the nickname “Crystal Palace”.
